Blacksheep is a mythical puppet character whose invention is often attributed to the English Professional Puppeteer Scarlet Ray Watt, Scarlet began playing seaside resorts, theaters throughout the UK and USA he created his adorable little friend hence the birth of Black Sheep.

The term Black Sheep' historically considered as mark of integrity rather than disrepute; Black Sheep has proudly reclaimed his heritage and continues to fly the flag for those who feel ostracized and marginalized.

Our Education Department remains dedicated towards introducing the joy and transformative power of theater to preschoolers in addition to maintaining a strong presence in the Los Angeles, New York and Atlanta Georgia markets.

Our programs are created to have a positive significant impact upon our students’ academic and social-emotional development; our Teaching Artists create and develop programming to connect with participants through the use of state-of-the-art puppetry within a classroom online setting and during after school supervised hours, affecting how students learn to interact with others and how they view themselves.

Through the art of professional puppetry we have developed a tool for therapeutic expression, developing a sustained practice in this area, this work brings together our skills in making spectacular theatre and puppets.
